Namibia
Simply one of the best destinations in Africa, Tanzania has it all.

In the North, the great migration in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Africa's highest peak: Kilimanjaro.

Vast, remote and untouched wilderness areas in the South.
Fantastic chimpanzee experiences.
Pristine tropical island beaches and world class diving.

Add to that the fascinating history, culture and the wonderful people and this is a staggering place.
Tanzania is close to our heart, the people are wonderful, welcoming and diverse in culture. Although the population is made up of many different tribes, there is no animosity. Although English is widely spoken, if one makes the effort to learn a few phrases in KiSwahili, faces will light up and your experience will be all the better for it.
The Northern Circuit comprises of some of Tanzania's most iconic landscapes: Kilimanjaro, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater being the most well known, but other destinations like Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park are also well worth a visit. All of these destinations are relatively close together and can be driven between comfortably. Flights are also an option although of course more expensive.
In the South you'll find Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park.
The ecotourism industry here is typically broken in to The Northern circuit and the Southern circuit. You can couple a trip trip to the North or the South with a relaxing stay But on longer trips there is no reason why you cannot combine any number of these.

Because of the vast size of the country traveling between these circuits by road is time consuming and not the best use of ones time. For this reason light aircraft flights between the destinations is the transport of choice.
